As we begin our new academic year, we welcome many new staff members. The Woodstocker caught up with some of them to chronicle the first chapter of their adventures.
Where are you coming from?
I am from Delhi but I grew up in Pune.
What subject do you teach?
I teach Math.
What’s different about Woodstock from the last place you worked at?
My old school was a day boarding school whereas Woodstock is a boarding school so the culture here is quite different and I get to meet different teachers from around the world. Interactions between the student and teacher are more common and Woodstock executes smooth classes.
What do you like most about your teaching career?
Feeling young because you interact with young people who are from different generations.
What are your goals for this academic year?
I want to become a successful educator and fulfill the requirements of all students.
Are there any fun facts about you that you’d like to share?
I like to play cricket and I also have an interest in drama.
