Once on this mountain: Ms. Larissa

As we begin our new academic year, we welcome many new staff members. The Woodstocker caught up with some of them to chronicle the first chapter of their adventures.

Where are you coming from?

I spent most of my life growing up in Seattle.

What subject do you teach?

Music.

Why did you come to Woodstock?

Woodstock sounded very interesting and there was an opportunity to teach music.

What’s different about Woodstock from the last place you worked at?

Middle school beginning violin students in Santa Fe Gas take 5 months to get to where Woodstock students will get in 4 weeks.

What are your goals for this academic year?

To not fall off the cliff. That’s one of them and to improve violin and viola techniques.
