We ask your male presidential candidates the questions that really matter.

What’s your spirit animal?
Arav: I’d say I’d be a dolphin. I think I’m always ready to work with others and be communicative as a person and work well in a team.
Vir: My spirit animal is definitely Mr. Tilak.
Yash: I’m going to say raven, just find them really cool so ya.

What was the last movie that made you cry?
Yash: Five Feet Apart.
Arav: I’m not usually a movie-cryer but Marley & Me got me in my feels.
Vir: Not really a movie, but Ted Lasso made me ugly cry last weekend.

If you could have dinner with any famous person, who would it be?
Vir: Prem. Ten years down the line. My favorite microcelebrity right now.
Yash: Damien Chazelle, Director of La La Land and Whiplash.
Arav: I think talking to Adam Sandler would be a lot of fun. I love his movies and I think I’d enjoy talking to him.

What’s one thing you’ve done that you would never do again?
Arav: I don’t think I’d go around giving roses with my friends to random people on Marine Drive in Mumbai again. Embarrassed myself a little too much that day.
Vir: Doing backflips in the gymnastics room. Broke my nose twice in the 6th grade. Although, Kekhrie is now telling me it should be, “missing a tap-in in Goal-a-Thon finals.” Let me know. Should be noted that Kekhrie was there both times.
Yash: Wish to? Speak to Arav Srivastava, but in all seriousness, probably bungee jumping.

What’s the most unusual way you de-stress?
Yash: Read books or comics, it’s usually One Piece.
Arav: I go to sleep in my friend’s beds. I begin scrolling through reels and wait for my friends to come back to see their reaction. Sometimes I just end up sleeping.
Vir: Yoga passage! Ms. Eugenis is a godsend. She brings a large bag of tennis balls and lets us play with them. Indescribable amounts of joy.

What superstitions do you believe in?
Vir: Can’t split poles while walking. Will definitely get you.
Yash: So the first basketball game I played well in, I was wearing these white and green socks which were subsequently named the Xbox socks because of the color. I usually try to wear them on important game days.
Arav: Not exactly a superstition, but I feel if you send off negative energy and think poorly of something, it would manifest itself into happening. This is why I try to send positive energy towards the universe and try my best to think optimistically. Also, ghosts.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
Arav: I’ve eaten octopus when I was very young and I hated it. Never again.
Vir: Mr. Pholkhan once gave us frog legs. 0/10, never again.
Yash: Spaghetti and momos on a margherita pizza (it’s good).

If your life were made into a movie, what would the title be (and who would do the soundtrack)?Yash: Soundtrack would be Justin Hurwitz, and the title: The Mundane, Not So Special, Totally Normal, Average Life of Yash Kejriwal.
Arav: “Fail Safe.” I have a backup plan for my backup plan and am overall very organized. The soundtrack would probably be Beyoncé because I love Beyoncé 🙂.
Vir: “Mind over Matter,” that’s really stuck with me. Powerful messaging when applied. For the soundtrack, we can’t go wrong with my girl Taylor.

What is your favorite Woodstock tradition?
Vir: SINGING “12 Days of Christmas” in the quad, where every grade sings their part. What an incredibly special time. I LOVE that answer, I’m so glad you asked! I have definitely done imaginary interviews in my head where I’ve talked about this in great detail.
Yash: Senior Prank Day. 🙂
Arav: I loved the idea of Senior Prank Day. Ever since I’ve been in this school I’ve been excited for this day.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?
Arav: Release your inhibitions, feel the rain on your skin, no one else can feel it for you… NO ONE ELSE, NO ONE ELSE CAN SPEAK THE WORDS ON YOUR LI-
Vir: S.O.S, because I’d like to think I hit those vocals last year.
Yash: Anything by Bruno Mars.
