The Revival of Woodstock

As the semester comes to a close, we wanted to reflect on some of the events in these past few months that have helped bring back a sense of normalcy to the Woodstock community.

Coffee House

At Coffee House, organised by CFI, students got the chance to express their creativity through music and poetry.

Goal-A-Thon

Goal-A-Thon, the inter-grade football tournament, broght back a much-loved Woodstock tradition of excitement, activity, and, of course, a lot of drama.

Friendship Day

On Friendship Day, 9th and 12th graders came dressed as iconic characters. Pictured above is students’ interpretation of the Addam’s family, which was also Woodstock’s last production in 2019.

Talent Show

Pictured above: the 11th grade emcees getting creative for Talent Show

As part of Woodstock tradition, 11th graders organised the annual talent show. Performances ranged from dances, bands, poetry and also the senior surprise for the departing class of 2022.

Junior-Senior Banquet

At Chinatown-themed JSB, 11th and 12th graders enjoyed a night of food, fun, and dance.

This is only the beginning of the revival many of the events and activities that help define Woodstock. We’re looking forward to Swish-A-Thon, the Film Festival, the Festival of Ideas, and many more to come!
